Keeping Our Guests and Volunteers Safe
It’s been a long time since we last sat down to share food and conversation at our FoodCycle Projects and we are so pleased that we can finally return to our Community Meals from the week of 19th July.
The government has made a number of changes to the guidelines and a number of restrictions will be lifted from 19th July. At FoodCycle we have decided to follow their recommendations for enclosed spaces, this is to ensure that we protect ourselves, our volunteers and our guests. We want everyone to feel as safe and comfortable as possible.
When attending a Project please follow the below guidelines:
- All volunteers and guests should wear a face covering when inside the building (they can be removed when sat down to eat and you do not need to wear one if you are exempt)
- Guests and volunteers will need to provide their contact details for Track and Trace
- Windows and doors will be kept open to increase ventilation and help with airflow
- Volunteers should wash hands frequently and both guests and volunteers should use the hand sanitizer that is provided
And please remember if you are showing any symptoms of COVID, no matter how mild, please do not attend a Project.
We really can’t wait to sit down with you again and we appreciate your co-operation in sticking to the above guidelines, so we can all help to keep each other safe.
