FoodCycle Peckham serves at All Saints Church, just off bustling Rye Lane. Peckham is an exciting place to be based and the project has been initiated in response to local issues of food waste, a desire to build community by providing a welcoming space for people to come and eat together and as a help to people struggling with food poverty.
We serve a free and tasty three course meals every Saturday 5.30-7pm and are open to all.
We now also serve a free three course meal each Wednesday from 4.30 pm to 6pm. This is a closed group for families and their children
FoodCycle Peckham is only made possible with the great volunteers giving their time, enthusiasm and energy. We have opportunities available for people to come along and cook, host guests and be involved in collecting the surplus food donations from local suppliers.
You don’t need to have any previous cooking experience, although if you do that is just as welcome! We want as many local volunteers as possible and everyone is welcome to be a part of FoodCycle Peckham.
