Station House Community Café

Station House, 73c Stapleton Hall Road, London N4 3QF

Well hello! Welcome to Station House - where surplus food is cooked up into tasty three-course meals for the local community every Friday. All our meals are ‘pay what you think it’s worth’ so they are accessible to everyone. We work in partnership with MIND, where the café is based, to provide volunteering opportunities to mental health service users and members of the local community.

Dine

Station House is open from 12-2.30 every Friday. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and are inspired by food from many cultures. We offer three course meals (well, it would be rude not to…) and there’s usual a choice of at least two tasty options for each course. Our address is Station House, 73c Stapleton Hall Road, London N4 3QF

Support

The FoodCycle Café is ‘pay what you think the meal is worth’ so that anyone can enjoy our meals. This means we rely on donations to keep going.

Haringey is a really mixed ward where rich and poor live in close proximity to one another. For those who can't afford the trendy shops, this is a really important part of their week. You can help be a part of Station House Community Café’s future by donating here:

Or why not make a regular monthly donation? Just £5 per month will make sure that a volunteer has all the training they need to kick ass at this project, cooking up a storm, learning new skills, making friends and helping the community.

Looking to volunteer? Well we’ve got just the thing for you! You don’t need to be a cooking maestro to join us. In fact, volunteering at the café is a great way to get some hospitality experience if you want to gain employment as a kitchen hand or waitress. Or maybe you just want to hone your cooking skills so you can impress your friends?

Either way our man Bruno is on hand to make sure you get what you want from your volunteering experience (he’s the smiley dude in the picture waving a ladle!). Volunteering sessions run on Thursday evenings (prep/cooking) and Friday daytimes (cooking/serving).
